Why VSA?

VSA is a group of academic summer programs high school students love! VSA is the premier program for students and families looking for an academic opportunity and a true pre-college experience. Our mix of classwork and evening opportunity simply cant be beat. And our weekend excursions (and our off-campus field trips) are just awesome! Join us this summer!

VSA academic summer programs high school students will enjoy for years to come. VSA is hosted by one of the coolest Colleges in the country. After all, they didn’t name GMC to all these lists without checking us out! This program isn’t created as a profit center for some random company renting space from the College; this program is integrated within the College community, created and led by members of the College who have a common goal of experiential summer learning.

Our students say that the neatest thing about VSA is how during the day everybody is working on their classwork – from making brioche to writing the next great American novel to solving FBI crime scenes and more – and then that evening they all come together and get to hang out with each other. The vibe is just cool. Safe, warm, inviting, calm, clean, safe, friendly…. just some of the words we hear in surveys. Did you see the story in Sierra Magazine where GMC is a top 10 Coolest School?
