Tuition and Fees
Students may attend either or both sessions of the Green Mountain College Vermont Summer Academy, the best academic summer camps. Students who choose the same course for both sessions do not repeat their curriculum; rather they continue learning at the same pace. While organized into two-week-long modules, each curricula contains many weeks worth of work. We encourage students to attend both sessions and provide discounts to encourage multi-session attendance. And remember, residential students who stay on campus between enrolled sessions do so for FREE!
Residential Students
Tuition for our academic summer camps feature: private double room (up to one roommate), three daily on-campus meals, activities, course materials, facilities charge and usage fees, Super Saturday transportation, and academic off-campus field trips.
VSA Student Pricing
STANDARD PRICE:
Price for one (either) two-week session: $2,395 total for 1 session
Price for both two-week sessions: $3,995 total for 2 sessions discounted: Includes stay-over between sessions free!
(please note: all activities and trips in this website and promotional materials are subject to availability and the vagaries of weather and other unforeseen circumstances; everything is subject to change without notice)
Culinary Arts Up-charge:
All Culinary Arts students are required to pay a service charge of $195 to cover the cost of consumables, perishables, and food ingredients. For virtually all lessons, students will have each their own set of food to cook, as we do not want all of the students sharing one food item to cook. We want them each to have items to cook, cut, or otherwise prepare for their recipes, so as to get the full and complete experience.
SESSION LIMIT: Culinary is limited to 15 per session and will sell out first, sign up early to guarantee a spot!
Saturday Stay over
Free! Any student staying for more than one session can choose to stay with us for the Saturday night between enrolled sessions for free. Of course this also includes meals and 24-hour supervision.
Non-refundable Application Deposit of $500 and Final Payment:
June 4th: If you havent yet paid your balance, please do so now as we are inside of the window for payments due.
Pay when you want and over time: Once you have established your account and reserved your spot by paying the deposit, you can pay the remaining balance at ANY time and in ANY amount, as long as it is paid by June 1st (and if you need a little more time just contact us and let us know!) The system will allow you to log in and make any payment size, using one or multiple credit cards or other forms of payment, without any additional fees. You can pay for it all at once, or over time… the choice is yours!
Optional Airport Transportation Service
We offer pick-up and/or drop-off service from Burlington International Airport (BTV) or Albany International Airport (ALB). Staff members escort students to and from campus and ride in the van with the student and a driver. VSA provides or arranges for all vehicles and drivers. Please email us your actual itinerary and receipt from the airline, clearly listing the airline, flight number, times and student name as soon as possible. Student itineraries and payment must be submitted as soon as possible. Email all information to vermontsummeracademy@greenmtn.edu.
