SUPER SATURDAY

Each session, after a week of study, we have a weekend.  On Saturday we break off from our studies and head out off-campus!  We let our students have input, and we have been thinking and planning for a variety of destinations… it is a way to blow off steam and have a great, fun, fabulous day exploring Vermont.  Students get to go on a major trip off campus, which we call Super Saturday.

Destinations:

Burlington: Some of the fun things to do are to participate in the Ben and Jerry’s factory tour, to explore the historic sights and cute shops along the waterfront of Lake Champlain.

Falls of Lana / Lake Dunmore:  Hanging out on the beach at Lake Dunmore is fun, especially after a long hike exploring the Falls of Lana, which is one of the most fabulous and beautiful natural areas in the Green Mountains, and the top of the falls offers absolutely spectacular views of the Champlain Valley as well as the Adirondacks in the distance.

Lake George:  Go the the beach, shop at the outlet stores, and explore the sights and sounds of one of the top destinations in the region!

This summer we will be going to a variety of destinations throughout the Green Mountain state and even beyond!  The idea behind Super Saturday is, after a week of academics and getting to know each other, we can all use a day to just have fun and relax.  Our students will get to choose from a variety of destinations… and the variety means there will be something just right for you!  All destinations are subject to change due to any number of reasons, mostly the weather…
